DESCRIPTION

Maleated rosin is a transparent solid resin made by vacuum treatment after the addition reaction of high-quality rosin and butenedioic anhydride. Also known as maleic acid rosin ester or maleic anhydride rosin.

Features

Ø Compared with rosin, it has higher acid value, softening point, antioxidant and aging resistance.

Ø The molecular structure has two more carboxyl groups than ordinary rosin, which enhances the activity of the carboxyl groups and has higher reactivity.

Ø When used as a sizing agent, its emulsion has good stability, high dispersion and utilization, and can effectively reduce the dosage of precipitating agents such as aluminum sulfate.

Ø Soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloroethane, insoluble in ethanol and solvent gasoline.

Packaged in galvanized iron drums, net weight of 225 kg/drum. Or packed in compound kraft paper bag, net weight 25kg/piece.

Storage & Transportation

It should be stored in a cool place, avoid high temperature, and should not be stored near fire.

It cannot be stored and transported together with spontaneous combustibles, strong oxidizers, and strong acids, and should be handled according to the regulations for flammable materials.
