DESCRIPTION

C5 petroleum resin is a straight-chain thermoplastic aliphatic petroleum resin. It is a yellow transparent solid obtained by cracking C5 fraction as raw material and catalyzed reaction.

Features

Ø Pale yellow and transparent, low odor and low volatility.

Ø Good fluidity, can improve the wettability of the main material.

Ø Excellent anti-oxidation performance and good weather resistance.

Ø Soluble in esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alkanes, chlorinated hydrocarbons and other organic solvents, insoluble in water and alcohols.

Ø Good compatibility with many polymers and elastomers such as NR, CR, SBR, EVA, SBS and SIS.

Applications

Ø Applied to polymers such as EVA, SBS and SIS, it can be made into adhesives such as industrial-grade hot-melt adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives.

Ø Others are widely used in: paint, road marking paint, rubber and plastic modification and other industrie.

Storage & Transportation
