DESCRIPTION

       DCPD hydrogenated petroleum resin is a colorless, transparent, thermoplastic, alicyclic petroleum resin produced by polymerization, hydrogenation, refining and other processes of dicyclopentadiene under certain temperature and pressure conditions.

 

Features

Ø  Colorless and transparent, with a low odor.

Ø  Good thermal stability, excellent anti-oxidation performance, good heat resistance and weather resistance.

Ø  Easily soluble in organic solvents, such as benzene, toluene, xylene, alkanes, chlorinated hydrocarbons, etc., insoluble in water and alcohols.

Ø  Good compatibility with many polymers and elastomers such as NR, CR, SBR, EVA, SBS and SIS.

Applications

Ø  Applied to polymers such as EVA, SBS and SIS, it can be made into adhesives such as industrial-grade hot-melt adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives.

Ø  Solvent-based adhesives for SBR rubber, natural rubber and acrylic.

Ø  Others are widely used in: paint, road marking paint, rubber and plastic modification and other industrie.

Storage & Transportation

It should be stored in a cool place, avoid high temperature, and should not be stored near fire.
