DESCRIPTION
α- Methylstyrene Monomer Resin utilizes α- Methylstyrene is thermally decomposed to produce chain free radicals, which are then copolymerized with other monomers using initiators to further stabilize the resulting monomer resin.
Features
Ø Wide selection range of glass transition temperature, high aromaticity, and good compatibility with SBR series materials.
Ø High viscosity, good thickening effect, and strong cohesion.
Ø It can enhance the moisture resistance of rubber and reduce the fog point with substrates such as EVA.
Ø Easily soluble in organic solvents, such as benzene, toluene, xylene, alkanes, chlorinated hydrocarbons, etc., insoluble in water and alcohols.
