DESCRIPTION

       Phenolic resin is a light yellow to brown irregular transparent massive solid produced by the polycondensation reaction of p-tert-butylphenol and formaldehyde under alkaline catalyst conditions. The phenolic resin referred to in this TDS is resol phenolic resin.

Features

Ø  Light color, high transparency, high hydroxymethyl value, and moderate softening point.

Ø  Enhanced heat resistance and adhesive ability, small deformation, good ductility, and low stretchability.

Ø  Good oil solubility, heat resistance, aging resistance, corrosion resistance and good electrical insulation.

Ø  Soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, cyclohexane, ethyl acetate, solvent gasoline, and vegetable oil. Insoluble in ethanol and water.

Applications

Ø  It is used as a vulcanizing agent in industries such as butyl rubber, natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, silicone butadiene rubber, polyester insulation tape and other industries.

Ø  Applied to various types of joint CR, CR, SBR rubber and other solvent-based adhesives.

Ø  Used in coatings, exterior enamel paint, floor paint, ship paint, anti-rust paint, oil pipe anti-corrosion, etc.

Packed in compound kraft paper bag, net weight 25kg/piece.

Storage&Transportation

It should be stored in a cool place, avoid high temperature, and should not be stored near fire.

It cannot be stored and transported together with spontaneous combustibles, strong oxidizers, and strong acids, and should be handled according to the regulations for flammable materials.
